Who you are
- 7+ Years in SaaS-based technologies
- 5+ Years in Alliances & partner management
- A proven track record in scaling and growing partner ecosystems
- Experience working in the ERP / accounting / financial management / financial ops / FinTech ecosystems
- Builder mindset, comfortable sharing ideas, trying new approaches and proven ability to achieve short and long term goals
- Brings an existing network of relationships across target alliance partners
- Strong ability to drive execution of strategic initiatives and tactics
- Experience developing, negotiating and closing partner deals
- Ability to sell people and partners on the vision and mission of Tipalti and of our partner. program - drive emotional and economical investment in joint success of the relationship
- A track record of working in a fast-paced environment, setting your own demanding expectations, inspiring and supporting your teammates and exceeding targets
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate & demonstrate Tipalti's products
- Assertive, Passionate, Persuasive, Positive, Consultative, loves to compete and win
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required
- While relationship management of top performing partners is essential, you also bring aptitude and appetite for ecosystem building - identifying, recruiting and onboarding new partners
What the job involves
- We are building a world-class Alliances organization and are looking for a team member who can help us achieve our goals
- We are looking for an experienced Alliance professional to contribute to the program’s growth, with a focus in growing out North American GSI partnerships
- The ideal candidate will be in tune with the key players in our ecosystem and have a passion for the financial technology space
- Through grit, attention to detail, focus, strategic thinking, analytical skills, and a get-it-done mentality, you will help build our Partner Program to support Tipalti’s aggressive growth goals
- Build and own relationships within the Consulting & Advisory firms space, (territory could include the likes of Deloitte, Accenture, BPM, BDO, Withum, Baker Tilly, Forvis…also be prepared to make inroads with some target longtail partners
- Build multi-level relationships within assigned partners including executive, marketing, sales, and sales support
- Identify and produce high-quality leads through constant engagements with partners including office visits, sales team training/coaching, marketing strategies, trade shows, and more
- Coordinate with internal resources to accomplish enablement efforts to launch partners and on-going to keep partners engaged with Tipalti
- Identify opportunities for new alliances and partnerships to expand Tipalti’s reach, maintaining a solid pipeline of new potential partners
- Creatively evangelize Tipalti to existing and potential partners
- Join networking groups and attend events
- Develop and enable a joint go-to-market message with strategic partners
- Work closely with the entire field and internal sales teams, pre-sales engineers, and marketing to grow new and incremental revenue
- Give clear and concise feedback to internal stakeholders on partner programs, product compatibility, & ecosystem viability
- Effectively communicate to management through accurate forecasting, Salesforce system excellence and other means
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Product, Legal and Compliance teams to deliver the best solution based on Tipalti and our partners’ needs

Tipalti provides a global payments, accounts payable and purchase order automation platform, with tools for each area to reduce manual workflows and optimize operations. The platform’s functionalities are designed to be flexible for the scaling of growing businesses, helping to optimize financial visibility, efficiency and control without the need for business infrastructure changes.
Whilst individual platforms exist for these functions, Tipalti has recognized that businesses do not want to juggle fragmented software solutions inefficiently, and delivers everything in one place. It continues to develop its offering, with a recent influx of funding supporting the incorporation of agentic artificial intelligence capabilities.
