Who you are
- This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands what makes content perform, and feels confident on camera. You’ll bring our brand to life with personality, speed, and creativity
- Proven experience creating video content for social media
- Comfortable speaking on camera and creating talking-head videos
- Strong understanding of what drives engagement across platforms
- Good eye for storytelling, pacing, hooks, and visual polish
- Able to produce content quickly while maintaining quality
- Curious, collaborative, and eager to experiment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bonus if you have experience with B2B, SaaS, or marketing content
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Content Creator to join our growing Social team at VEED. You’ll be the face and voice behind the content we share across our social channels. Your videos will educate, entertain, and engage marketers and creators around the world
- Create short-form video content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Be both behind and in front of the camera, serving as a recurring on-screen presence for VEED's brand channels
- Work with the Head of Social to concept and script content series
- Stay on top of trends and platform updates to keep our content fresh
- Own the end-to-end production process: planning, filming, editing, and posting
- Collaborate with product marketing, community, and creative teams to align on messaging
- Track performance and use insights to improve content and grow engagement

VEED is an online tool that aims to make video editing as simple as possible. With a user interface stripped down to the bare essentials, VEED allows creators and marketers to edit videos, add subtitles and credits, and share and distribute the end product. By specifically focusing on the needs of a social media-first audience, the founding team have created a product that integrates seamlessly with key platforms and can be used without training.
The platform has grown significantly since its launch in 2018, and now boasts hundreds of thousands of monthly active users, and month-to-month growth. The founders have ambitious growth plans for the coming decade as they build out their team and grow their user base to become the online video editing platform of choice.
