Who you are
- The ideal candidate brings a consultative, process-driven sales approach and is energized by selling a complex, technical product to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- 2+ years of proven experience carrying a quota in a B2B SaaS sales role with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Experience managing the full customer acquisition lifecycle from lead qualification to close
- Strong ability to sell a technical product to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage sales cycles of varying length and complexity
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating with autonomy in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for building relationships and telling customer stories
- Proficiency with modern sales and productivity tools such as SFDC, Apollo, Notion, Slack, and Google
What the job involves
- Persona is looking for a high-performing sales professional to drive revenue and business growth across our customer segments, from high-growth startups to the world’s largest global enterprises
- This role is responsible for owning the full sales cycle, landing new logos, and building durable customer relationships that scale with Persona’s platform
- You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional buying experiences, shape our go-to-market motion, and help define the standards for how Persona sells as we continue to grow

- Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close using a consultative, customer-first approach
- Drive net-new customer acquisition and build pipeline across a defined territory or segment
- Partner closely with Sales Engineers and cross-functional teams to design and position tailored solutions
- Deliver compelling presentations that simplify technical and contractual concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Develop and execute account and territory strategies that support revenue growth and predictability
- Maintain strong pipeline hygiene and clearly communicate deal health, risks, and next steps
- Build deep product, market, and competitive expertise to advise customers effectively
- Contribute to the evolution of Persona’s go-to-market motion by piloting and scaling sales best practices

It offers a comprehensive suite of automated identity verification components with worldwide coverage that can be configured, branded and themed to create custom-tailored flows for any use case.
Businesses and governmental organizations can access Persona’s platform via an API, which supports various documents from government-issued IDs to biometrics, ensuring customers are who they claim to be. Persona’s platform also collects passive signals such as a user’s device, location and behavioural patterns to provide a more holistic risk profile, beneficial in financial and insurance contexts.
