Who you are
- Advanced degree in finance, audit, or risk management
- Minimum [5] years of experience in risk control within an asset management company or financial institution. Experience on non listed assets and evergreen funds is a strong plus
- Strong knowledge of the AIFM regulatory framework and AMF obligations
- Proficiency in risk monitoring tools and regulatory reporting
- Ability to analyze complex situations and propose pragmatic solutions
- Autonomous, rigorous, organized, and team-oriented
- Fluency in English and French is mandatory
What the job involves
- As Risk Controller you will ensure the effective monitoring and implementation of fundcraft’s risk control framework in line with AIFM regulatory requirements
- This role is key in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial, operational, market, and liquidity risks associated with managed funds
- The Risk Controller will develop and maintain risk tracking and reporting tools, conduct regular control tests, and ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting to supervisory authorities
- This position is based in France and reports directly to the Country Head France
- Responsible for the risk management function
- Ensure the monitoring and implementation of the risk framework in accordance with AIFM regulatory requirements
- Identify, measure, and monitor financial, operational, market, and liquidity risks related to the managed funds including in case of delegation to other asset managers
- Develop and maintain risk tracking and reporting tools for management and supervisory authorities
- Conduct periodic control tests, analyze incidents, and propose corrective actions to reduce risk exposure
- Contribute to the development and updating of risk management and internal control policies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations within the risk function vis-à-vis the AMF and other competent authorities
