Junior UX/UI Designer, BMLL Technologies

• We are looking for a driven and eager-to-learn junior UX/UI designer
• This is a junior role, so we don’t expect years of experience. If you’re fresh out of university with a relevant degree or perhaps you have a year or so of experience, we’d love to hear from you
• As this is a technical product, involving complex financial concepts, an interest (not necessarily experience) in finance and technology are strongly desired
• 1+ year of experience in product design OR a degree in relevant subject (e.g. Product Design, Computer Science, UX Design, etc.)
• Hands on experience with Figma, Adobe XD or similar
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Strong foundational knowledge of UI design principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex issues to different stakeholders, both business and technical
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
• Agile development and continuous delivery methodologies knowledge is a plus

Desirable

• BMLL facilitates its clients' access to its petabytes of granular data and derived insights via three main products
• Help to design and improve user experience across these products, implementing new features and being involved in exciting projects involving some of the largest financial institutions across the globe
• Research competitor products and best practices across new and emerging technology products
• Collaborate with engineering, product and other teams to build modern, intuitive designs for new features and UI enhancements
• Create wireframes and high fidelity prototypes using Figma
• Optimise developer experience with clean and accurate high fidelity designs
• Write product requirements documents for new features
