Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering, with expertise in both frontend and backend technologies
- Comfortable with building and integrating APIs, particularly in complex, distributed systems
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts or AI tools and platforms (e.g., GenAI, AgenticAI, GPT-like models, APIs, etc.)
- A strong desire to work with AI and machine learning technologies and the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and platforms
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Kotlin, Java, C#, Python, or other relevant technologies
- Experience with cloud services, containerization (e.g., Docker), and deployment frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile development practices
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team
Desirable
- Experience with large-scale AI applications and systems
- Familiarity with the latest trends in AI research and model training techniques
- Interest in staying up-to-date with the latest developments in AI research and models
- Experience with big data systems and scalable architectures for AI applications

What the job involves
- SimSpace is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and drive the development of AI-powered services
- This role requires a strong background in full-stack software engineering with an eagerness to dive into the world of AI tooling and APIs
- While direct experience with GenAI or AgenticAI platforms is a plus, the ideal candidate is someone excited to explore and integrate AI technologies (e.g. , GPT-like models, APIs, and machine learning systems) into real-world applications
- You will play a key role in developing, fine-tuning, and deploying machine learning models while ensuring seamless integration across the full stack
- A commitment to quick iterations and working within the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is essential for this position
- Design, develop, and integrate AI-powered services into real-world applications using GenAI and AgenticAI APIs (e.g., ChatGPT, Vertex AI, AWS AI, Claude,
- Perplexity, CrewAI, Anthropic's models, Jasper, Cohere, Hugging Face, OpenAI, and other relevant platforms)
- Leverage full-stack engineering skills to build scalable, reliable software, including both backend and frontend components
- Lead the implementation of systems used to continuously improve model performance based on real-world feedback
- Manage the full-stack development of AI services, working across the backend, frontend, and APIs to ensure seamless integration and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and deploy AI models that support business goals
- Iterate quickly and implement agile development practices to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality software
- Own the SDLC for AI service projects, from requirements gathering to design, testing, and deployment
- Continuously learn about new AI technologies, staying at the forefront of industry advancements and integrating them into development processes
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain AI-powered systems, ensuring robustness and scalability
- Work iteratively in an agile environment, delivering high-quality software in quick cycles
- Contribute to the overall architecture of AI systems while ensuring good coding practices, testing, and documentation
