Role
Who you are
- 3+ years in mobile development, including 1-2 years of hands-on React Native experience building and deploying apps for iOS and Android
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Understanding of mobile architecture and platform requirements
- Experience with RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus
- Knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
- Strong communication skills and experience working in agile teams
- Self-motivated, problem-solver, and eager to learn and grow
Desirable
- Familiarity with Expo Application Services (EAS)
What the job involves
- As we expand rapidly, we’re seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Engineer to help scale our React Native mobile applications and elevate the user experience
- Build and Optimize: Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Proof’s mobile applications using React Native, ensuring a smooth, responsive user experience
- Collaborate Effectively: Partner with backend engineers to optimize API interactions with a focus on mobile performance and security
- Enhance Architecture: Assist in improving mobile app architecture while addressing performance bottlenecks and platform-specific challenges
- Deliver Impact: Work with Product and Design teams to deliver features and mobile optimizations in an agile development environment
- Promote Excellence: Participate in code reviews, encourage best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Stay Current: Keep up with mobile development trends and suggest improvements to the platform
