Who you are
- 8+ years of accounts payable experience, including global scope
- Strong understanding of AP controls, compliance, and best practices
- Experience managing global teams and vendors
- Experience in a multinational or public company environment preferred

What the job involves
- The Head of Global Accounts Payable leads and oversees global AP operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of vendor payments and employee reimbursements across all regions.
- This role owns AP governance, internal controls, vendor management, and process scalability in partnership with Procurement, Accounting, and Finance leadership
- Own end-to-end global accounts payable operations
- Establish and maintain global AP policies, controls, and governance
- Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing and payments worldwide
- Manage global and regional AP teams
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and tax requirements
- Own AP-related month-end close activities and balance sheet accuracyPartner closely with Procurement, Accounting, Tax, Legal and FP&A
- Lead AP automation, system implementations, and process improvements
- Support internal and external audits
