AML Associate, Lemfi

• Minimum 3 years of total AML compliance experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of US and Canadian regulatory requirements

• The role of Compliance Associate, reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, North America, is a fully remote position within LemFi’s Compliance team
• This role will be supporting the Chief Compliance Officer, North America with regulatory reporting, reviewing escalations for US and Canadian customers, and maintaining AML policies along with supporting the global LemFi Compliance team where needed
• Assist with MSB registrations to FINTRAC and FinCEN
• File SARs and STRs. Knowledge and experience with filing these two report types are mandatory
• Compile reports due to banking partners on a regular basis
• Compile reports due to state regulatory agencies on a regular basis
• Update the regional AML programs and policies
• Assist with due diligence of partners
• Conduct quality assurance on AML operational work
• Identify and implement improvements in AML processes
• Be the first point person for AML operations in regard to US and Canada matters
• Issue recommendations to the Compliance Officers and the Chief Compliance Officer to enhance the AML program, ranging from transaction monitoring rules to modifications of internal controls
• Engage in cross-functional responsibilities and assist the wider Compliance team where needed
