• 15+ years of software engineering experience, including demonstrated success operating at Staff or Principal Engineer level
• Deep backend engineering expertise with JVM technologies (Java, Kotlin, Scala) and/or Go
• Strong distributed systems and system design fundamentals, including microservices, scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance patterns
• Hands-on experience building and operating large-scale streaming architectures using Kafka and technologies such as Flink or Spark
• Proven track record leading complex cross-team technical initiatives from architecture through execution
• Experience integrating or operating AI agentic workflows and LLM-powered systems within engineering or production environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across distributed, cross-functional, and international teams
