What the job involves
- CoreWeave is seeking a highly skilled and motivated manager to join our Hardware Engineering Dev Team, reporting to the Director of Compute Architecture
- In this role you will support the Hardware Engineering Dev team
- The Engineering Dev team is responsible for developing and supporting Go based microservices that manage CoreWeave’s hardware cloud
- You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the team’s roadmap, creating a hiring plan to grow the team, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and managing the team’s day to day workloads
- Build and lead distributed teams who are focused on rapidly delivering high quality results
- Manage day to day workloads, sprints, long term project planning
- Identify opportunities to improve process flows and speed through systems and tools
- Develop measurable goals for teams, and ensure alignment across teams to deliver
- Facilitate constructive communication across all teams, and provide coaching and counseling to team leads by mentoring, one-on-one meetings, and regular performance feedback
- Work closely with recruiting team to attract and evaluate talent
- Deploy and monitor Go based services in distributed kubernetes clusters
- Develop and maintain tooling to support CoreWeave’s hardware/firmware automation and monitoring
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of software designs, specifications, test procedures, and results
