Who you are
- You are on track to receive a 1st or 2:1 (or equivalent) in your undergraduate degree in a relevant degree field (e.g., Marketing, Marketing & Management, Digital Marketing, Business with Marketing, Sports Marketing) and graduating in summer 2025
- You are data driven, and able to extract key user trends from numbers to inform decision making
- You are curious, eager to learn, and can adapt quickly across different areas
- You have excellent communication skills and can collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- You are a self-starter, highly organised, and can manage multiple tasks across teams
- You love a fast-paced environment and are passionate about making an impact
- You are commercially minded and can quickly understand business implications of different decisions

- Have held a leadership role in a university society or founded your own side business
- Have worked in the consumer fitness space before and understand what building the world’s best running coaching app takes
- Have had hands on experience in one or more of the marketing areas you’ll be working on
What the job involves
- We’re launching an exciting Digital Marketing Graduate program that offers you the opportunity to work across key areas of our growth & digital marketing function: Performance Marketing, CRM, App Store Optimisation (ASO), SEO, and Web Design
- You’ll be supporting across our key digital marketing functions listed below, gaining diverse, hands-on experience in each:
- Performance Marketing: Assisting in the development and execution of paid media campaigns (e.g., on Meta and TikTok) and collaborating with our agency to optimize campaign performance
- CRM: Supporting the team in building customer relationships through targeted campaigns, helping manage email marketing, push notifications, and more
- App Store Optimisation (ASO): Learning how to improve Runna’s visibility in app stores through keyword optimization, reviews, and creative assets
- SEO: Gaining exposure to content creation, keyword research, and strategies to drive organic search growth
- Conversion rate optimisation: Collaborating with designers to ensure optimal user experiences across our site, while learning the fundamentals of UX, experimentation and conversion rate optimization (CRO)

- Take Home Task (~60 minutes)
- Interview Round 2: Video Interview with Miranda/Laura (45-minutes, presenting task)
- Final round: Office visit (in-person chat with exec(s) and rest of the team)

- We’ll let you know if you’ve been invited to interview w/c 6th January
- Round one interviews (virtual) will take place w/c 20th January
- Round two interviews (virtual) will take place w/c 27th January

Our take
As a way to keep fit, running has shot up in popularity in recent years, partially due to accessibility, especially during the pandemic. But for those who want to take running to the next level – whether that be a 5K or a marathon – it can be difficult to know where to start in terms of a training plan. Runna supplies an app with personalised training plans for all types of runs, to help people achieve their running and fitness goals.
Runna was founded in 2020 by running enthusiasts for running enthusiasts, in response to the lack of tools – save paying a professional trainer – available to help runners train. Although there is a wealth of day-to-day running apps available, where Runna stands out is in providing training plans for specific races, which can be distinguished by distance and goal time. In addition, it does this whilst maintaining a sense of community, which has proven to be a popular feature amongst other running apps, and still caters to a range of experience levels.
Runna has since consistent subscriber growth since its launch, serving thousands of users globally. The company plans to build and scale into the future, reach more customers, and expand its team.
