Who you are

At least 4-6 years of experience developing modern microservices and web-based/REST API’s
At least 3 years of experience working with React, Angular, or similar frontend technologies
Familiarity with all aspects of SDLC; you know what the best practices are and follow them in your work
Strong experience programming in .NET and working with C# or a similar language
Strong experience with both relational and non-relational databases (e.g. MongoDB, MySQL, etc.)
Strong experience with task/build/automation running tools for JS such as Webpack, Gulp, Grunt
Familiarity with Infrastructure-As-Code (IaC) and CI/CD (e.g. Gitlab CI/CD, terraform, vault) focused on automating deployments and optimizing processes
Understanding the principles of building high-performance large-scale distributed systems
Strong experience with containerization (Docker/k8s) and Kafka
Knowledge of OAuth2.0, OpenId, and Identity Access Management systems is a plus
Salesforce experience is a plus
Familiarity with the AdTech industry is not required, but is a big plus

What the job involves

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our talented full-stack team responsible for enabling clients to successfully activate and operate DoubleVerify’s rich suite of products
You’ll develop scalable and reliable backend services and frontend applications fueling DV's operational processes.
We are a tech company at heart, addressing complex challenges and innovating to use the best technology and practices for the task at hand on a daily basis. The team is a cross-company focal point and is user experience oriented, and as such you’ll be closely coordinating and working with multiple development, product, and client services teams
Design and develop robust microservices with .NET Core and Python. The services are integrated with various systems including Salesforce, databases and internal APIs
Design, implement, and optimize databases to support application needs
Design and develop micro-frontend applications in React and Angular
Style client components using Material, CSS and SCSS
Document solutions to be used by partners and other development teams
Actively participate in code reviews and system design discussions
Test and optimize code developed both by you and by other team members
Continuously release features using automated deployment tools and framework through Infrastructure-As-Code (IaC)
Work in a fast-paced agile environment, collaborate with team members and Product Managers on a daily basis, and participate in product meetings
Implement application observability to enhance code integrity and support throughout the development and release processes

Since it was first launched, DoubleVerify has successfully carved out an impressive market share, and now boasts customers such as digital advertising giant Facebook as long-time customers. Its success is largely owed to the quality of its technology, which far outperforms that of its rivals. DoubleVerify has consolidated its success by expanding the range of languages its tools support. It has also expanded into new markets such as Australia and New Zealand, a key indicator of the company’s continued growth.

The digital ad space is changing constantly, and DoubleVerify will need to remain as agile and adaptive as it is at present in order to compete with rivals such as Tremor and Quantcast. But with a 2021 IPO, several recent rounds of funding and new product releases, it looks set to tackle its competitors head on and stay ahead of the game.
