Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have expertise in SaaS sales management and Retail Media
- 10+ years of proven success in software sales and experience within the retail media industry
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in managing a sales team, with a minimum team size of 10 people
- Proven track record of driving regional growth for a SaaS company through acquiring new clients and implementing effective upsell/cross-sell strategies
- Must be a highly business-driven individual who excels in fast-paced and dynamic environments
- Fluency in French and/or Spanish would be an added advantage
What the job involves
- You'll be part of our AMER Mirakl Ads team led by Octavie Gosselin, VP Mirakl Ads
- Together with your team, you'll be unlocking profitable revenue streams with Mirakl Ads, a self-service retail media platform that gives retailers complete control over ad inventory, and enables advertisers of all sizes to maximise performance to deliver shoppers the products that perfectly match their needs
- Mirakl is actively looking for a Head of Sales, Mirakl Ads to support the rapid adoption of Mirakl Ads in the AMER region and contribute to our growth
- As the Head of Sales for Mirakl Ads in AMER, you'll spearhead the expansion of our retail media activities, leading a dynamic sales team to promote Mirakl Ads among both new and existing customers
- We're looking for a charismatic relationship builder who is proactive, innovative, and well-connected
- You'll play a key role in shaping our corporate sales strategy, driving its execution, and achieving strategic goals
- Additionally, you will provide executive sponsorship for clients, handle initial escalations, and ensure smooth customer engagements
- Join us and be at the forefront of our sales force, making a direct impact on our success
- Play a pivotal and inspiring role in building, leading, and motivating a talented sales team composed of Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, and Solution Engineers, driving them toward unparalleled success
- Define global go to market strategy consistent with Mirakl’s objectives
- Establish solid relationships with key players at the highest levels of an organization, particularly within the VP, EVP, and C-suite
- Continuous mentoring and development of sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training duties
- Supporting Account Executives by participating and leading in client meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required
- Develop partnerships and increase the visibility of Mirakl Ads in the E-Commerce and Retail Media sector
- Collaborate with marketing, business development, and partners to build accurate forecast and pipeline
- Reporting on sales activity and revenue forecast
Our take
Mirakl is a SaaS platform that provides the technology and partner ecosystem needed to launch an eCommerce marketplace. There are a couple of major benefits to this: if a store doesn't hold an item a customer wants in stock, it can be sourced seamlessly through marketplace partners, and it allows eCommerce retailers to hold a lot less inventory especially in less-requested lines.
Since its founding in 2012, Mirakl has helped more than 450 companies develop new marketplaces to drive product adoption. It currently works with consumer-facing enterprises, including Macy’s, Decathlon, Best Buy and Sonepar, and industry-specific B2B companies like Airbus Helicopters, Toyota Material Handling and Accor’s Astore.
Mirakl has raised a large amount of capital in multiple rounds of funding. Investment has been used to grow its engineering and customer success teams, enabling product development and a broader reach. With solid revenue growth and an expanding global footprint, Mirakl seems set to increase its lead in the market moving forwards.
