Role
Who you are
- Minimum 5 years of video security solutions or sales experience
- Previous experience with handling strategic accounts required
- Previous experience working with channel strategies and initiatives required
- Strong executive presence with experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong technical acumen and ability to speak about our products and solutions
- Proven record of achievement in delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships
- Strong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy is required
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Time management skills are required, and candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Bachelors Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experience OR 8+ years of sales/public safety experience
What the job involves
- Create, nurture, and respond to sales opportunities and close sales orders within accounts assigned by the Sr. Director, Business Development, North America
- Create, manage, and maintain sales pipelines with assigned accounts
- Promote, train and sell MSI’s products and services through direct customer contact within the assigned geographic territory and accounts
- Create, maintain, and execute business plans for assigned accounts and strategic alliances
- Work with Global Sales Team members to execute and complete business plans for assigned accounts
- Develop and maintain relationships at the Executive level with all assigned accounts
- Service and maintain created partner programs for assigned accounts
- Work to identify new markets, partnering opportunities with accounts, new business plans and objectives
- Oversee and manage the sale of Avigilon and MSI products and services within the assigned accounts
- Assist the Sr Director in establishing clear, measurable goals for the team and ensure each team member is held accountable for reaching them
- Focus on the continuous improvement of the team, identifying the need for ongoing training, and provide recommendations to management
- Assist in onboarding new team members, ensuring they are well-integrated into the team and equipped for success
- Other duties as assigned
