Modern consumers expect slick mobile banking apps, but whilst major nationwide banks can easily develop and deploy a sophisticated and secure system for their customers, smaller banks and credit unions often lack the resources to do this. With more than 6000 credit unions serving a hundred million members in the US alone, there’s certainly a strong potential market for such services - which Bankjoy is rising to fulfil.
Bankjoy doesn’t wish to compete with the major banks. Instead it has created a product that is aimed at smaller businesses, primarily credit unions. Its platform enables banks to offer their customers features like mobile banking, online banking, e-statements, online account opening, online loan origination, and conversational AI, all enabling them to better serve their customers.
The business has grown fast, securing more than 63 clients - including the likes of One Detroit Credit Union and UMe Credit Union - and serving over a million members to date. Atop the 2023 launch of its "Online Account Opening 2.0", which enables financial institutions to quickly and seamlessly onboard new members and clients, Bankjoy has secured impressive funding to support its continued growth and product innovation.
