Who you are
- >3 years

- Strong knowledge on SQL, including experience querying complex data sets (MySQL, BigQuery)
- Data-hacker: ability to investigate, search for information and cross-reference data sources
- Possess business and commercial sensitivity and the ability to explain problems and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- English B2-C1
- Background in statistics, BI, economics, engineering, data mining or other technical
- Experience with data visualization / BI tools such as ( Amplitude, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Looker,..)
- Curious, resourceful, keen to investigate
- Ability to understand stakeholders expectations
- Good communicator
What the job involves
- Ensure availability and reliability of the data
- Debug and problem solve issues to ensure delivery of accurate metrics
- Integrate raw data from multiple data sources
- Create dashboards with our main visualization tools (Tableau, Amplitude)
- Create adhoc analysis to provide insights on specific topics
- Provide on-going reporting and performance monitoring from multiple data source
- Be a driving force in addressing large volumes of data
- Act as a point of contact for our external tech partners
- As part of your job, you will be working on tools that process personal data relating to Yubo users

Our take
Founded in 2015, Yubo is a social platform mostly aimed at Generation Z users. They hang out in live streaming rooms to socialise, play games and make new friends. There aren’t creators on the platform broadcasting to fans like nearly all other major social platforms; instead, the app focuses on helping users communicate naturally.
So far, the company has seen 60 million sign-ups - up from 40 million in 2020 - 99% of which are Gen Z users, ages 13 to 25. It also sees rapidly increasing revenue, more than tripling from 2019 to 2023.
Yubo has been thinking about the future of social networking for the next generation of younger users, not just from a product standpoint, but also from a safety perspective. Most recently, it has been focused on implementing unique safety features such as face-scanning age verification. These features are likely to help the company retain and protect its users, and therefore grow its user base to reach new markets and stay ahead of the competition.
