What the job involves

To provide leadership of the territory, accountable for all sales activity and revenue generated in the territory, primarily driven through Channels, Content Sales and Digital / VOD / Branded Products
Accountable at P&L level (ownership) for managing the territory revenue and costs, to achieve targets in order to achieve businesses and the regions strategy and business plan
Develop and manage clear business plans across each of Channels, Content Sales and Digital / VOD / Branded Products within the territory in order to achieve targets for the region
Formulate and implement growth strategies to ensure attainment of the next phase of growth in revenue and profitability
Work closely with the Branded Services teams to maximise the BBC potential value in the region
Lead the territory team to collaborate across the portfolio and mange “trade offs” between functions and manage specialist regional and central resources from across the region to further support achievement of opportunities in the region
Supporting on legal, tax and regulatory matters within the territory, to ensure compliance and protect business
Responsible for budgets and forecasting to promote sales and control costs
Lead, motivate, develop and manage the performance of direct reports, operating with a high performance approach with the local and central teams, and all stakeholder interactions
