Role
Who you are
- Bachelor or Diploma in Communication, International Business Management or any related field - open to junior profiles with an internship experience
- Candidates not having above but HSC holder with more than 2 years of working experience in the related field will also be considered
- Fluent in English and German - Italian or Spanish is a plus
- International exposure in a support role (even if only dealing with international clients by phone)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and quality oriented attitude
- Knowledge of Salesforce software would be an advantage
- Ability to work in an international team and be a team player
- Excellent interpersonal, persuasive communication and sales skills
What the job involves

- Our frontline employees engage and support all companies to leverage EcoVadis solutions in order to foster continuous improvement of sustainable business practices in global supply chains
- This position interacts with all EcoVadis customers (Buyers & Suppliers) to provide exemplary service that respects the unique relationship each customer has with us and serves as an EcoVadis ambassador to the world.Core Responsibilities
- Provide support for customers primarily via email, chat, and phone to ease their experience on the platform, answer questions, and provide consultative assistance
- Take appropriate steps to listen, understand, and engage with the customer to find solutions & communicate options
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the EcoVadis platform, processes, & practices ensuring quality assistance with incoming customer queries
- Understand and communicate industry best practices and the evolution of EcoVadis product and platform functionality, methodology, and administrative services integral to the customer's success
- Capture and record internal and customer-sourced insights to bridge gaps that may exist between customer expectations & participation
- Additional responsibilities related to the function may be required

This data can then be used to inform business decisions and aid companies in their mission to decrease their carbon emissions. EcoVadis provides business sustainability ratings with the aim of creating a global marketplace where sustainability intelligence influences every business decision.
EcoVadis has devised a criteria based on international sustainable development standards. The criteria considers specific challenges, geographical location and company size to create its rating, ensuring its ratings reflect the company as fairly as possible. The main objective of the rating is to measure the quality of a company’s CSR management system through its policies, actions, and results.
This concept is increasingly pertinent given the emphasis placed on sustainability by consumers, and so EcoVadis are smartly targeting this key area. It currently operates with 90,000 companies of all sizes across more than 200 industries in 160 countries, highlighting the importance of the ratings it provides.
