Role
Who you are
- 4+ years of proven track record as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or other equivalent role which includes excellent analytical skills, including exploration, research, and measurement
- 3 years experience with Software as a Service (SaaS)
- Proven experience with scrum and other Agile development methodologies
Desirable
- Adopts new technologies, like AI, and always seeking a deeper level of technical understanding
- A good understanding of data integration
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with APIs (SOAP, REST, GraphQL)
- Ability to clearly articulate requirements and prioritize requests
- Proven understanding of systems or software engineering experience with a focus on architecture, performance, and scalability
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical major
- Experience with Enterprise SaaS Applications
- Experience with iPaaS platforms (Mulesoft, Snaplogic, Workato, Boomi)

- As Workday accelerates its strategic growth initiatives this Product Manager will be involved in bringing a new integration development product to market which will broaden the capabilities of the Workday Integration Cloud
- This is a hands-on, highly visible role that involves collaboration with multiple customers across the company and with the Workday partner ecosystem
- We are looking for product managers who love ambiguity and thrive on cutting through complexity to deliver value to our customers
- We are also looking for a Product Manager with a passion for applying AI to make day to day processes more efficient
- Collaborate with Workday development, operations, and product teams to understand their requirements and priorities
- Create strong connections with customers, partners, UX and product engineering teams to continuously champion improvements to the Developer experience
- Write detailed specifications based on prioritized requirements
- Work closely with the development organization through design, development, testing, release, and maintenance of the product to ensure its quality and successful delivery
- Lead vendor selection process, including 3rd party software evaluations, vendor relationships, and lifecycle management
- Define a product roadmap and resolve requirements for each release based on user requirements, technical architecture, and business needs
- Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced work environment
- Applies AI every day to drive efficiency in personal, team, or customer developer processes

Workday is a cloud-based software vendor that provides management of workforces and finances. The company uses a single database for workforce management and financial management to offer integration and optimize business intelligence across companies. It has added to the packages and tools it offers over the years, providing analytic options that allow companies to combine third-party data with information collected by Workday.
Workday has acquired and paired up with many other companies to keep expanding its offering. In 2021, it purchased the employee feedback platform Peakon in response to the growing need for managers to be able to survey workers and collect satisfaction data without face-to-face meetings. The company has also bought and developed many financial tools and HR management tools.
The company’s goal is to provide end-to-end back office services and while there are other providers, such as UKG Pro and Ceridian HCM, Workday’s broad offering helps them to stand out. Though it faced a tough global market in 2023 and has shed some of its headcount, Workday has seen a 6.5% gain in value in the first quarter of 2024. It is now focusing on growth and developing the AI capabilities of its platform. .
