Role
Who you are
- The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, excel at structuring and nurturing complex relationships with consulting firms, PR agencies, and channel partners, and possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances, particularly within technology, security, or communications sectors
- Proven track record of successfully structuring, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience tracking performance metrics and driving decisions
- Highly organized, emotionally intelligent, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
Desirable
- Experience in technology, communications, or security industries
- Familiarity with CRM tools, such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Strong creative problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills
What the job involves
- We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial Partnerships Manager to identify, establish, and manage strategic partnerships
- This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure partnerships drive mutual value and strategic alignment
- Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships to drive growth, enhance brand awareness, expand market reach and drive revenue
- Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact, maintaining strong, long-term relationships with partners, including consulting firms, PR agencies, channel partners, and senior-level stakeholders
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations, structure agreements, and manage contracts to ensure partnerships are mutually beneficial and aligned with company objectives
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, sales, and customer success teams to maximize partnership opportunities and coordinate strategic initiatives
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish, monitor, and report on partnership performance metrics, analyzing data to optimize partnership strategies and outcomes
Our take
The rise of online disinformation, misinformation and manipulation campaigns is a growing and concerning problem, and one that can be difficult to combat. Alethea hopes to make this easier for organizations with its Artemis platform, which was built to monitor, detect, assess and mitigate disinformation attacks.
Using billions of data points, the platform leverages multichannel analysis to detect risks and deal with them before any damage is done. By deciphering which risks pose a real threat, and which can be ignored, it empowers cybersecurity teams to focus their efforts in the right places.
Through this approach, users can proactively defend themselves against the weaponization of information. As this becomes a more prominent problem, Alethea has no shortage of potential clientele, while recent funding will enable it to grow its teams and further enhance the platform to cope with changing threats.
