Who you are

Have a "user first" mindset. You want to improve the day to day of our Tech and Data team
Experience managing services like Redis, Kafka, Redpanda, PostgreSQL, MySQL (We can run stateful workloads on Kubernetes!)
Already work with a Data team and you are familiar with the concept of MLOps (Airflow, Databricks, Redshift, SageMaker)
Infrastructure as Code experience like Terraform or Pulumi

What the job involves

Join our team as a SRE / Devops and help Homa grow into one of the best game studio / publishers out there
Ensure the availability of our core services (Redis, Kafka, Postgresql, etc.)
Improve the daily life of our developers by providing a dev portal (Backstage) and more
Improve our monitoring stack and detect potential optimisations
Contribute to the infra roadmap
Handle the support for our Tech team
Set and manage SLO/SLI within our team
Manage production workloads on at least one of the major Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Manage production workloads on Kubernetes (Cilium, Karpenter, PostgreSQL Operator, etc.)

Homa Games builds tools for developers to build successful mobile games, including publishing and monetising their products.

Homa Games is the world’s leading platform for mobile game creation and publishing and is one of the companies driving the industry towards a data-driven and systematic approach. The company helps developers build faster, with testing tools; create more popular games through market intelligence; and remove financial risk by offering smart in-app advertisements and distribution management.

Since 2018, Homa Games has attracted one billion downloads for its published games. The company has raised an impressive level of funding that will be used to improve its tech stack and expand into web3 and NFTs, and it has acquired and partnered with other technologies towards this next goal. Ultimately, Homa Games wants to build a universe of interconnected games with virtual worlds and characters owned by creators and players, an ambitious task that it will be interesting to see if they can achieve.
