Who you are
- 5-7 years of working experience in B2B marketing and demand generation
- A versatile business athlete with a broad range of skills in both analytics and creativity

- Prior experience with in-person events, virtual events and webinars
- Adept at learning and using technology to scale and improve processes
- Skilled at working cross-functionally with sales, channels and other internal teams to push projects across the finish line

What the job involves
- Multi-channel event marketing - Promote and maximize attendance to B2B events (both virtual and in-person) that target hard-to-reach executive audiences. In addition, support execution of certain virtual events, including concept, logistics, and follow up
- Webinar program management - Lead Virta’s well-regarded webinar program by assisting with planning, promotion, and production of webinars. Closely collaborate with B2B content lead who will own presentation content and speaker recruitment
- Digital ad campaigns - Develop digital ad campaign / ABM strategy in support of multi-channel B2B campaigns to energize and activate target buyers and channels through digital channels
- Demand generation execution - Support planning and execution of key projects, such as project managing Moonshots (large virtual event), assisting with physical marketing campaigns, and email marketing
- Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:
- Jump in to Virta’s busy spring conference season to learn the ropes while supporting both in-person industry conferences and virtual events
- Learn how Virta’s webinar engine works and own production of your first webinar, from soup to nuts, in partnership with our B2B content lead
- Align closely with ASO leaders to understand how to activate channel for greater growth
- Evaluate existing digital ad campaigns and assets, take over ownership of platform and step in to run existing campaigns
- Learn demand generation tools including Hubspot, ZoomInfo, Zoom Webinars, Zapier, and others
Our take
Much of the care for type 2 diabetes has been based on control and prevention, rather than a direct reversal of the issue. Virta Health is changing that, providing patients with personalized treatment plans, virtual monitoring and patient care.
Instead of depending upon medication, which often needs to be increased over time, the company is tackling the problem at its root and taking a fundamentally different approach that is better for the patient, and more economical for insurers. Among enrolled patients in its clinical trial at one year, 60% achieved diabetes reversal.
While platforms like Vida Health also serve similar markets, the large number of prediabetic (88M) and diabetic (30M) Americans presents a significant opportunity for growth. Along with its significant funding round in 2021 fueling its efforts to expand the reach of its telehealth-powered diabetes reversal treatment. Positioning the company for widespread adoption and continued success in addressing this critical healthcare challenge.
