Who you are
- We are looking for motivated, focused, and coachable sales professionals with experience across the full spectrum of the software sales cycle – prospecting, defining and articulating value proposition, pilot process management, business case development, negotiation and closing
- Minimum 5+ years of sales development experience in high velocity, SaaS sales environments with a proven “hunter” mentality
- Track record of success in quota attainment, within a highly technical sales process
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and analytical and organizational skills
- Command of the Message (or similar) and MEDDPICC-trained
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, collaborating with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally
What the job involves
- An Account Executive at Weights & Biases is a quota carrying, enterprise software sales position responsible for meeting and exceeding goals through generating and closing new opportunities while increasing awareness of Weights & Biases in the marketplace
- Drive new logos and new ARR into assigned Enterprise territory, EMEA North
- Develop and implement a business development sales strategy, to help drive awareness and engagement
- High velocity, focused pipeline generation aligned with key performance indicators
- Collaborating with technology ecosystem and alliance partners to accelerate new opportunity discovery
- Manage opportunities through the sales cycle from initial inquiry/outbound interaction through to forecasted pipeline
- Meet quarterly and annual revenue objectives for your assigned territory, whilst reporting on sales, activities, and progress regularly through CRM and sales forecasting tools

In order for deep learning to work, it’s necessary for companies to be able to monitor how the models are behaving as they are trained. With over 200,000 customers, W&B has differentiated itself from its competitors such as IBM Watson Studio and Valohai by focusing exclusively on machine learning practitioners and not on sales aspects of the technology, and by its competitive pricing.
The company has also launched a product to help different parties collaborate on machine learning models. This is geared at researchers, reducing the need for them to rerun their training examples repeatedly. Over time, this will help to move machine learning technology forward. What's more, W&B's technology is free for personal and academic use, which has fueled adoption enormously, and it is now being used by research institutions such as UC Berkeley and enterpise companies like Samsung and Salesforce.
The dependence on machine learning is growing as more and more companies begin to use artificial intelligence to handle business tasks, so demand for this sort of software is rising. Having raised substantial funding, W&B is moving to futher develop its product, grow its team and increase its marketing reach.
