Who you are
- Successfully completed studies/qualification (BA or similar) in Marketing, Communication, (Graphic) Design or Humanities
- Good understanding of HTML/MJML or the willingness to quickly learn on the job
- Some work experience in (digital) communication
- Solution-oriented, task ownership mindset and strongly detail-oriented
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and a precise, structured way of working
- Technical and digital affinity, as well as a quick grasp of new things
- Excellent German and English language skills; other languages are a plus
What the job involves
- PAIR Finance is reshaping the debt collection industry—innovative, digital, and customer-focused. With cutting-edge technology and artificial intelligence, we develop efficient, tailored solutions to improve our service for clients across Europe
- To further scale and improve our customer communication strategy, we are looking for a willing-to-learn, detail- and solution-oriented (Junior) Content Creator to join our Behavioral Science team
- You will be responsible for creating templates (email, letter etc.) that we use in our automized workflows to communicate with our customers
- For this, we use our new Communication Service, built in-house, to create and control outbound communication in all our countries

- Create and optimize the automized outbound communication with our consumers
- Help us scale and internationalize by producing content for new market launches and cooperating with translation agencies or our country offices in other European markets
- Further develop our communication strategy and product (Communication Service) together with the Behavioral Science team which is part of the AI team
- Play a pivotal role in enhancing consumer engagement and building transparency and trust in the brand
- Find solutions for communication- or design-related issues
- Use analytics to identify what types of communications/content is more efficient and refine strategies accordingly
- Communicate and cooperate closely with other teams
Our take
Flexible payment options are essential for reaching as many customers as possible, but methods such as "buy-now-pay-later" often lead to payments never being made. In this event, businesses generally resort to debt collection agencies, but this can come across as intimidating, damage customer relationships, and prevent overdue customers from returning.
PAIR Finance leverages artificial intelligence to analyze customer interactions and behavioral data during the debt collection process in order to identify how to make customers more open to payment of their debts. The company also provides industry-specific services for credit scoring, portfolio purchasing, and customer retention, custom-designed for E-Commerce, Banking, Energy Providers, and other industries.
Debt collection is a process that has remained stagnant for decades and has not been innovated upon past simple developments such as digital payment plans. PAIR Finance has therefore found a unique niche in the market by investigating what makes customers avoid paying their debts, how to make them more open to doing so, and using machine learning to develop frictionless debt collection strategies.
