Who you are

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
High developer empathy and passion for improving the developer experience
2+ years of experience with AWS or other cloud providers
Expertise in Python, Docker and CI/CD tools (GitLab preferred)
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Cloudformation, Serverless, Terraform, etc.)
Familiarity with monitoring and logging systems (Datadog, Prometheus, Splunk, etc.)

Desirable

Experience releasing native (mobile or desktop) applications
Experience deploying applications both to client premises and cloud environments
Experience with security and compliance frameworks (e.g. HIPAA, ISO27001, NIST800-53)
Experience leading and managing complex projects with multiple and diverse stakeholders
Familiarity with basic machine learning concepts
Familiarity with Microsoft IT offerings (e.g. Active Directory)

What the job involves

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the Enable Medicine Platform team
In this role, you will take on the crucial tasks of designing, implementing, and maintaining the development platform that supports our software development lifecycle. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with diverse teams, including software developers, scientists, and operations, to create a platform that scales the productivity of everyone who writes code at Enable
Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver cutting-edge scientific solutions to our customers
Improve the resiliency of our data processing and CI/CD pipelines
Improve our platform monitoring, alerting, and response capabilities
Streamline our cloud infra deployment and configuration
Allow releasing with more confidence by creating a robust testing and deployment infrastructure
Monitor the platform's performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resources as required
Document the infrastructure architecture, deployment processes, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
