QA Engineer, Multiply

• 3+ years of experience in a QA or software testing role (startup or SaaS environment preferred)
• Proven experience in testing web applications and APIs (manual and automated)
• Ability to interpret API logs and troubleshoot issues across the frontend/backend boundary
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with engineers, product managers, and external stakeholders
• A proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues

Desirable

• Conduct manual testing of features and user flows, with a focus on new client implementations
• Design and implement test plans for our frontend web applications and backend APIs
• Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to define and test features throughout the development lifecycle
• Develop and maintain automated tests (UI and API) as needed
• Identify, document, and prioritise bugs based on business impact
• Contribute to the development of a more automated, stable, and scalable QA framework
• Continuously improve our release processes in partnership with the engineering team to mitigate friction and risk
