Who you are

Experience level: Senior
You are a well-rounded, fast-learning data engineer experienced with multi-stage data ingestion pipelines
Ready to work with structured and unstructured data using frameworks such as Databricks and Nextflow, as well as ones specific to the life sciences domain such as DNAnexus
Ideally, you have experience working with both automated and human-in-the-loop flows
Databricks
Data-related cloud infrastructure and services, preferably AWS
Relational and non-relational databases, SQL
Python

Desirable

Experience in life sciences domain
Experience with the R programming language
Comfort architecting and communicating a data solution and its rationale
Knowledge in security
Fluency with Docker, shell, and infrastructure as code
Curiosity about developments and trends in data engineering
Knowledge of and/or interest in machine learning or generative AI
