Our take

PayRetailers is a fintech company specialising in providing seamless payment solutions to businesses looking to expand into emerging markets, particularly in Latin America and Africa. The company looks to connect global enterprises with local consumers through an extensive network of over 300 payment methods across 20+ countries.

Focussing on financial inclusion and innovation, the company enables underbanked people to access financial services, promoting economic growth in underserved regions. The acquisition of Transfeera in Brazil, as well as obtaining a payment institution license from Brazil's Central Bank, are significant milestones that strengthen PayRetailers presence and capabilities in LatAM.

Looking ahead, PayRetailers plans to continue expanding its operations in Africa, starting with Rwanda, Zambia, Uganda, and Tanzania. Through this, it will capitalise on the region's rapid growth in the payments industry and further its mission of driving financial inclusion and business growth.
