- Demonstrated success in B2B marketing, ideally within SaaS or technology product-based companies
- Experience marketing technology or data-driven products, with a strong grasp of customer engagement and personalization tools
- Proven ability to lead and mentor team members, fostering collaboration and growth
- Intermediate knowledge of CMS tools, marketing automation (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Zoho MarketingHub), and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, ZohoCRM). Basic design/editing skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) are a plus
- Expertise in planning, organizing, and executing efficient marketing strategies, with strong analytical skills to measure and improve campaign performance
- A track record of nurturing relationships with key stakeholders across sales, tech, and marketing teams, ensuring aligned efforts
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Appsflyer, Adjust, Firebase, and ad platforms (social ads, Google UAC, Apple Search Ads) is an advantage
- A talented storyteller with polished written and verbal communication skills, capable of creating impactful content for various audiences
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in English
What the job involves
- At Loyal Guru, we're seeking a driven and experienced Marketing Lead to define and execute our marketing strategy, fueling our expansion in the SaaS B2B landscape
- This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, with a strong focus on storytelling, stakeholder collaboration, and campaign success
- Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll oversee all marketing initiatives, manage a designer and a Growth Marketing Specialist, and play a key role in positioning our company as a leader in customer engagement, data platforms, and personalization
- Define and implement marketing strategies that align with the company’s objectives, enhancing brand visibility and driving lead generation
- Develop and execute inbound marketing campaigns that attract and convert qualified leads
- Design and coordinate industry-specific promotional campaigns across digital channels, PR, and media, with a special focus on the food retail sector
- Lead and mentor a small but impactful team—including a designer and a Growth Marketing Specialist—to ensure seamless collaboration and outstanding execution
- Work closely with sales, tech, and customer success teams to unify messaging, improve sales pitches, and deliver a cohesive customer journey
- Develop engaging content for product launches, case studies, recruitment campaigns, and internal communications. Craft compelling stories that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Align marketing initiatives with the company’s vision and growth objectives
- Analyze market trends, understand customer needs, and assess competitor positioning to inform and refine our marketing efforts
- Oversee the designer and Growth Marketing Specialist, ensuring high-quality, collaborative campaign execution
- Champion customer development, optimize experiences, and drive 1:1 personalization strategies, leveraging customer data platforms and journey optimization
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity through thorough market and competitive analysis
- In the future, build and lead a high-performing marketing team to support organizational growth
- Create and implement inbound marketing campaigns that generate and convert qualified leads
- Take charge of the company’s advertising, public relations, and communications efforts
- Lead digital and promotional campaigns, with a focus on engaging the food retail sector
- Work with all customer-facing departments to deliver a consistent and impactful brand experience
- Track the impact of marketing activities, continuously refining strategies based on data and insights
- Oversee the development of a unified customer journey, leveraging data platforms and personalization tools to maximize engagement
Our take
Loyal Guru is a customer data platform that helps brands build on their customer loyalty strategy. The platform helps companies collect and analyse customer data to produce personalised omnichannel promotions and measurable loyalty programs.
Reports suggest that courting consumer loyalty has become particularly difficult over recent years. The pivot to eCommerce has opened consumers up to a vastly larger market of brands. Moreover, this freedom to shop around is exercised more often in times of economic hardship. Catering to the consumer needs of primary shoppers - Millennials and Gen Z - is crucial, and it emphasizes data analytics and personalised solutions. Both boxes are firmly ticked by Loyal Guru.
The company already have enterprise clients like Mango, Spar, and Día, and is using funding to expand across Europe and the Americas. With a dominant proportion of eCommerce businesses based in North America, this could prove a savvy step. Loyal Guru will need to ensure, however, that this expansion doesn’t stray their attention from the rapid changes in consumer preferences that eCommerce has been seeing recently.
