Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on IT experience
- Strong technical background in SaaS administration, system maintenance, and IT security
- Experience with retail technology systems and point-of-sale software is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to balance tactical execution with strategic thinking
- Basic project management experience and budget management skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff
- Experience in multi-unit operations is a big plus
- Adaptable and willing to both lead and execute tasks as needed
- Customer service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
What the job involves
- Heyday is seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager to oversee, manage, and support our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our technology systems
- This role is based in NYC and will report directly to the Vice President of Technology
- The IT Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of all IT-related activities to support the company’s growth and operational objectives
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and support of the company’s IT systems, including those for Owned and Operated and Franchise Partner locations
- Recruit, hire, lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support and services to internal stakeholders
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives, ensuring scalability and security
- Manage the IT budget, including forecasting, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring cost-effective solutions
- Ensure the security of the company’s IT infrastructure, data, and systems, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery and support of IT services
- Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and meeting the defined objectives
- Provide technical support and guidance to employees, troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues promptly
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and secure operation of all IT systems
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the company’s IT capabilities

The innovative facial technology uses customer experience data to personalize the experience, aiming to provide something for everyone.
The startup has raised over $40 million to date in funding rounds, backed by wellness and lifestyle investors. Heyday is using this funding to open new locations and is focused on continued national expansion. Heyday is further developing its concept of a personalized facial experience via partnerships and new and innovative product releases.
