Our take

The agriculture industry has been slow to modernize, preferring to continue legacy processes despite inefficiencies and sustainability concerns. Rantizo is an agtech company leveraging drone technology to replace traditional crop-spraying methods, helping farmers to incorporate more efficiency into their workflows.

Aerial crop-spraying is not a new concept, but typical agricultural aircrafts come with numerous safety concerns and a high cost for fuel. Drone fleets, by nature of being unmanned, eliminate human error incidents. They also answer numerous industry concerns such as worker shortages, rising costs, and the desire to reduce carbon emissions.

Rantizo's "Buy Now & Fly Now" packages come with everything needed to employ its crop-spraying drones, enabling it to act as a one-stop-shop to clients and making it an appealing option in the market. In 2023 it raised over $6 million in an expansion to its Series A round, which will be used to support its growth strategy moving forwards.
