Who you are

You like to get things done and are obsessed about solving problems for the users of your product
Your have a user-centric mindset to solving engineering problems
You have 3-5 years of experience working in a data- or backend oriented software engineering position
You are proficient in SQL
You are proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, C++, or Python (Experience with Python is preferred but not required)
Work experience within a agile, startup-like environment is preferred but not required

What the job involves

We develop EagleEye, a tool that focuses on helping our investment team to find better deals, faster
We collaborate closely with the investment team in order to solve their key problems as well as support other functions in the firm, such as the investor relations, with for example portfolio analysis
Extending system for startup & people scoring. Enhancing our startup scoring system, to allow for more sophisticated ways of recommending startups
Enhancing architecture for crawling. Improving the maintainability & scalability of our architecture for crawling
Improving system for entity-resolution. Increasing the accuracy & scalability of our entity-resolution system
