Who you are
- This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and has a passion for finding great talent and creating exceptional candidate experiences
- We’re looking for a proactive recruiter who is comfortable working across different time zones, cultures, and markets
- You’ll bring a combination of curiosity, empathy, and strategic thinking to every search—and you’ll know how to move quickly without sacrificing quality
- 2-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably with experience recruiting across the EMEA region
- A track record of hiring for a wide variety of roles, including technical, go-to-market, and corporate functions
- Experience working in a global, fast-paced SaaS or tech company
- Familiarity with local hiring practices and labor laws across multiple EMEA countries
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus
- Proficiency with recruiting tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse (or similar ATS), and sourcing extensions
- You’re proactive, organized, and collaborative—with a knack for balancing multiple searches and stakeholders at once
- You genuinely care about the candidate experience and building inclusive, high-performing teams
- Some travel is required
What the job involves
- Contentstack is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us scale across the EMEA region
- You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, People team members, and cross-functional leaders to recruit top talent across a range of roles—from sales to engineering and everything in between
- Own full-cycle recruiting for roles primarily across the EMEA region, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and closing candidates
- Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements, team dynamics, and long-term business goals
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract passive and active candidates across diverse markets
- Maintain excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring process, ensuring timely communication and thoughtful engagement
- Collaborate with the global People team to support hiring forecasts and reporting
- Ensure compliance with regional hiring laws, data privacy regulations, and internal policies
- Build strong talent pipelines and stay ahead of industry and market trends
- Contribute to talent brand initiatives, events, and employer branding efforts in key EMEA markets
- Work with the US team on other open roles if no EMEA roles are active
- This role will have a probationary period prior to an opportunity to convert to full time
- The probationary period per country is as follows: Portugal - 90 days, Bulgaria - 6 months
Our take
As enterprises handle and produce increasing volumes of content, the Content Management System (CMS) market is still growing strongly – expected to more than double in size by 2030. To differentiate themselves in a crowded market, disruptors entering the space are championing the idea of “Headless CMS”, through which enterprises can customize the front-end visuals while offering the same level of backend infrastructure.
Co-founded by the same trio that created and sold Built.io, Contentstack is one such disruptor that’s making a strong name for itself. Founded in 2019, the platform is now used by a number of major enterprises including Shell, JPMorgan Chase, McDonald’s, and Walmart.
It’s been a very strong start to life, with huge VC funding as well as a high-profile customer base, but there is still plenty of competition – Storyblok, Prismic, Strapi, and Kontent are all well funded and growing quickly too. That being said, Contenstack is hoping that its no-code automation features will help it stand out from the rest as the company looks to grow internationally.
