Who you are
- You're looking for a 6-month internship starting in September 2026
- You're pursuing a Master's degree (Bac +4/+5) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and transformation of very large datasets
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques (e.g., star schemas, normalization)
- Experience with forecasting and statistical analysis techniques
- Data visualization with tools like Metabase, Superset, or Tableau
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Python for analytics and automation
- Nice to have: dbt, AI-powered/agentic tools
- Fluent in French

What the job involves
- You'll be part of our 6-person team based in Paris. Together, we'll be transforming raw data into the insights and intelligence that fuel Mirakl's next phase of growth—from product strategy to AI-driven workflows, everything we build needs a rock-solid data foundation
- The team balances autonomy with collaboration, and we make time for team moments because the best work happens when you actually know the people you're building with
- Expect daily stand-ups and bi-weekly syncs at the team level, regular 1:1s with your mentor and manager for personalized support, and monthly all-hands and quarterly kick-offs to connect your work to Mirakl's bigger picture
- This isn't a "maintain the status quo" role, it's a chance to shape how data flows through the entire organization
- Partner with product and business stakeholders to understand needs and ensure data products deliver actionable value
- Develop data models and comprehensive semantic layer documentation to convert raw data into analytics-ready datasets
- Build and maintain dashboards guaranteeing reliable access to critical performance indicators
- Develop and support agentic analytical solutions, empowering users to independently discover insights and optimize workflows
- Drive adoption of analytics solutions through user training, responsive support, and incident resolution

Our take
Mirakl is a SaaS platform that provides the technology and partner ecosystem needed to launch an eCommerce marketplace. There are a couple of major benefits to this: if a store doesn't hold an item a customer wants in stock, it can be sourced seamlessly through marketplace partners, and it allows eCommerce retailers to hold a lot less inventory especially in less-requested lines.
Since its founding in 2012, Mirakl has helped more than 450 companies develop new marketplaces to drive product adoption. It currently works with consumer-facing enterprises, including Macy’s, Decathlon, Best Buy and Sonepar, and industry-specific B2B companies like Airbus Helicopters, Toyota Material Handling and Accor’s Astore.
Mirakl has raised a large amount of capital in multiple rounds of funding. Investment has been used to grow its engineering and customer success teams, enabling product development and a broader reach. With solid revenue growth and an expanding global footprint, Mirakl seems set to increase its lead in the market moving forwards.
