Senior Brand & Marketing Manager, Car & Classic

• You’re a consumer brand marketer who knows how to turn strategy into marketing that people notice, engage with and remember
• You’re comfortable operating across the full marketing mix: building a distinctive brand, developing communities and partnerships, creating culturally relevant campaigns and supporting commercial products. You combine creative instinct with data, using insight and results to understand what’s working and make better decisions
• You’ll also bring genuine enthusiasm for classic and modern specialist cars. You don’t need to fit a particular mould of “car enthusiast”, but you should understand the audience, be curious about the culture surrounding it and be excited by the opportunity to make Car & Classic even more relevant to the next generation of enthusiasts
• Consumer brand expertise: Significant experience building and developing consumer brands, with the judgement and capability expected of a senior brand or marketing role
• Community building: Strong experience creating communities or programmes that turn audiences into active, engaged users or customers
• Content, social and partnerships: Experience developing effective social, creator, content or partnership initiatives that connect brands with relevant audiences
• Data-informed marketing: A track record of measuring marketing impact and using evidence and insight to make decisions, rather than relying on instinct alone
• Enthusiasm for the category: Genuine passion for or strong knowledge of classic and modern specialist cars and the audiences surrounding them
• Delivery and organisation: The ability to take ownership of multiple initiatives, prioritise effectively and consistently turn plans into high-quality execution
• Stakeholder management: The ability to collaborate across teams and bring people with you when taking marketing programmes from idea to delivery
• Proactivity and drive: A self-starting approach, with the curiosity to spot opportunities and the persistence to turn good ideas into results

• We’re looking for a Senior Brand & Marketing Manager to help make Car & Classic the most compelling brand in the specialist car marketplace
• You’ll turn our overarching marketing strategy into high-quality programmes across brand, community, partnerships, social and commercial marketing. This is a hands-on role: you’ll have the opportunity to take ideas from insight and concept through to execution, measurement and iteration
• A big part of your role will be strengthening what Car & Classic stands for and finding creative ways to connect with new enthusiast audiences. You’ll also work across commercial propositions such as Collectors Edition and Insurance, developing integrated marketing that translates attention and engagement into meaningful business results

• Strengthen our brand: Build and reinforce a distinctive, relevant and compelling Car & Classic proposition across our customer touchpoints
• Create culturally relevant marketing: Find creative opportunities across content, partnerships, social, community and events that make Car & Classic more desirable and relevant to enthusiast audiences
• Deliver integrated campaigns: Plan and execute marketing programmes supporting commercial products, including Collectors Edition and Insurance
• Measure what matters: Use brand, audience and commercial data to understand impact, inform decisions and continually improve our marketing
• Help evolve Car & Classic: Bring ideas, curiosity and initiative to how our brand develops as the business grows and reaches new generations of enthusiasts
