Electrical Test Engineer, Urban Sky

• 3+ years of experience in electronics testing or similar industry
• Proficiency with Python and or other scripting languages
• Familiarity with C or C++ for embedded systems
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Experience debugging electrical hardware, i.e. reading electrical schematics and using electrical test equipment to inspect the system

• As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and operation of of all test equipment used to validate newly built avionics and payload systems
• Our operations is expanding which means we are manufacturing more flight systems than ever before

• Design and build test equipment used for production flight systems such as
• Functional test fixtures
• Test stations
• Assembly jigs
• Development and implementation of detailed testing procedures
• This includes defining test parameters, creating test plans, and documenting test results
• Document failure modes and use data to continually improve reliability
• Drive root cause of PCBA production yield issues and prevent factory escapes of defective hardware
• Partner with hardware design team to improve yield, processes, test coverage, quality, and reliability
