Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience (9+ years) with a track record of delivering results in marketing, creative leadership, and strategic planning
- History of data driven brand strategies from vision to development across full funnel of marketing channels
- Highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects, initiatives and competing priorities
- Ability to interpret analytics and derive actionable insights
- Experience in understanding and delivering on KPIs
- Proven results in delivering business value through brand strategies
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities

- The Integrated Marketing team is responsible for owning the end-to-end brand strategy, planning, and execution of all key initiatives for Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo
- In this role you will lead or support one or more key areas of the business, such as big brand moments, cultural or seasonal campaigns, regional initiatives (e.g. U.S. or Rest of World), or product and commercial go-to-market efforts and serve as a subject matter expert for the business or region you support
- Partner with your senior leadership team to help develop and contribute to the integrated marketing strategy for your assigned business area(s), informed by traveler insight, brand priorities, product roadmaps, marketable experiences and commercial goals
- Collaborate with partner teams, including GM, product marketing, comms planning, media, our internal creative and design teams, or agencies to develop compelling campaign platforms and clear go-to-market plans
- Support cross-functional execution of brand campaigns — from big moments like new product launches to always-on programs or local activations
- Lead the day to day management of creative and media assets in partnership with internal teams and external agencies
- Be a brand steward, ensuring creative work meets brand standards, reflects our tone of voice, and are adapted appropriately for channel and region
- Build strong relationships with key partners across all key stakeholder groups: product, product marketing regional teams, comms, creative, growth marketing, media and sponsorships, PR, influencer marketing and social media
- Maintain up to date statuses of your projects; contribute to reports shared with leadership and cross-functional partners
- Support Directors and Senior Directors with delivering all brand campaigns at a high bar
- Ensure delivery on campaign goals and work with analytics and media teams to track performance
- Understand insights data and how to use it to optimize campaigns and inform future initiatives and continuous improvements

Its primary web businesses include Expedia.com, Hotels.com, Hotwire.com, and Egencia.com.
Between 2021 and 2022, Expedia has been selling and merging a list of its sub-brands in a bid to simplify its operations, including Egencia and Classic Vacations. Due to plummeting share prices, mostly in the case of its sub-brands, Expedia has been leveraging its subsidiaries' customer base and merging them into the company’s core brand. Contrasting this move, Expedia has also been partnering with tech start-ups in a bid to make travel more accessible to underserved groups. Becoming Rentable, a travel company for the disabled is one of 12 startups that are part of Expedia Group’s new Open World Accelerator Programme.
What this indicates is Expedia’s shift from buying other travel companies and a move towards enhancing the experience of its preexisting customer base. This move is aiding in a long-term plan for greater long-term traveler loyalty, utilizing Expedia’s vast amounts of data, not just from reviews, but from check-in, cleanliness, communication, cancelations, etc to inform how guests experience a property.
