Role
Who you are
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required
- 5+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record of successfully leading the development and launch of B2B SaaS software products, ideally in the healthcare or life sciences industry
- Passion for both technical and customer-facing aspects of Product management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform product decisions and drive business results
- Facilitation skills to lead product workshops with customers and internal SMEs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, encompassing both technical and strategic topics. Able to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to own one’s responsibilities fully. Proactive and independently capable of meeting deadlines, deliverables, and expectations
- Comfortable with fast paced, frequently changing landscapes & skilled at recognizing the impact of changes on daily tasks
- Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, and familiarity with software tools like Jira and Pendo
- Experience with managing and modernizing legacy software systems
- Passion for innovation and a strong desire to positively impact the future of healthcare through technology. A bonus skillset would be deep understanding of clinical trial processes, regulations, and industry standards, with experience working with clinical research organizations (CROs), pharmaceutical companies, or healthcare providers
What the job involves
- The Senior Product Manager collaborates closely with cross functional teams to define product strategy, prioritize product features, and drive the execution of our product roadmap through customer research and clear requirements
- Lead the product development lifecycle for our suite of clinical trial software solutions, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and industry regulations
- Work closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to translate product requirements into actionable epics, user stories, and specifications using Agile scrum processes
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user feedback sessions to identify market trends, customer pain points, and opportunities for product innovation
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on market insights, business objectives, and technical feasibility
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including clinical researchers, healthcare providers, and regulatory experts, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Drive product launches, including developing go-to-market strategies, creating marketing collateral, and coordinating with sales and marketing teams to drive product adoption and revenue growth
- Monitor product performance and KPIs, conduct post-launch analysis, and iterate on product features and functionality based on user feedback and market trends
- Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical trial processes, technology trends, and industry best practices, providing guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Other projects and responsibilities as assigned by management
- Stakeholders:
- Internal: Senior Management and colleagues in other departments
- External: Sponsors, CROs, and study team members that use Medrio
- This is a fully remote position and the individual will work from their home office and be available during the core Eastern timezone working hours
