System Hardware Architect, FlexAI

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 15 years of industry experience in system architecture design and development
• Solid track record of successful platform hardware designs
• Experience with IP/technology development and integration is an added advantage
• Expertise in semiconductor technologies, digital/analog circuit design, high-speed interfaces (SerDes, HBM, PCIe), and familiarity with industry-standard design tools (Cadence), simulation software, and motherboard design methodologies

• Lead the design and development of platform HW architecture
• Create detailed platform hardware specifications, including block diagrams, interfaces, and component selection to guide the design and development teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional domains, including SoC, Package, PCB, Electrical, Thermal, Mechanical, and Technology, and develop system specifications that consider trade-offs between power/performance and cost
• Lead the team of hardware engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship, ensuring projects are successful
• Coordinate with the BIOS/OS teams to lead platform power on and provide all inputs from the platform side to the validation teams
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities to optimize hardware components and interfaces for performance and efficiency
• Lead prototype development and validation efforts to demonstrate system feasibility, performance targets, and compliance with industry standards
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure system reliability and performance
• Establish quality assurance processes and standards for hardware development
• Define and conduct reliability testing plans to validate system robustness, perform failure analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Lead product qualification activities according to industry standards and regulations. Prepare documentation and reports for qualification tests and certifications
• Closely follow academic researchers and industry developments in HPC and AI architectures for training and inference applications
