Role
Who you are
- You have 2-3 years of accounting experience with knowledge and application of GAAP
- A detail oriented go-getter who enjoys collaborating cross functionally
- Excel & Googlesheets whiz (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, VBA) to automate and streamline accounting processes
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Netsuite, Ramp, Bill.com, Google suite
What the job involves
- This is an operational accounting role with real scope that will grow with the business
- You'll own accounts payable and accounts receivable end-to-end, keep our bank accounts reconciled daily, ensure our platform data matches NetSuite, and take on new projects as the company grows
- You'll work directly in NetSuite on a team that uses AI to move faster, and you'll be expected to flag inefficiencies, improve processes, and bring ideas — not just execute tasks
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable & accounts receivable process from data entry to retailer/vendor communications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide insights for decision-making
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Support the implementation, maintenance and administration of accounting software and systems
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies

Seed Health is a microbial company that researches, develops and sells probiotic supplements to boost gastrointestinal, dermatological oral, pediatric and nutritional health.
The last decade has seen a renewed focus on probiotics and gut health in particular, with scores of companies bringing supplements to market. The next big step for Seed Health will be to rise above an already crowded marketplace while continuing R&D for new product categories, with a particular focus on AI applications. Substantial funding in 2021, alongside stable profitability and the fostering of groundbreaking partnerships with the likes of the Swiss Institute of Allergy, proves it is turning heads in the science sector.
