Who you are
- We are seeking a talented video and motion designer with a passion for creative thinking and creating clean, compelling designs
- We are seeking someone who is ambitious with the skills and vision to push our existing video creative to the next level while maintaining a strong brand identity
- This is a prime opportunity for a B2B-focused video/motion designer to join a fast-paced, hyper-growth SaaS business with a global presence, strong product suite, and multiple audience segments
- Excellent creative, animation, motion, and video design skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proven experience in motion design and animation, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Strong ability to grab attention and visually communicate key messages in a concise and captivating way
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- 3+ years of experience in design within an agency or in-house role
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and the ability to self-manage
- Flexible, collaborative, and has a can-do attitude
What the job involves
- Reports To: Head of Marketing (London, UK)
- Key Relationships: Marketing Team (social media, paid media, SEO, copywriters, graphic design) as well as close collaboration with Product Managers, Sales Managers, Customer Success and Operational Leads
- Working within Easyship's global marketing team, you'll have the opportunity to take the lead on a range of creative projects
- You will be a core member of the marketing team and contribute to the creation of new social and video advertising campaigns, how-to guides, product explainers, website lottie animations, and more
- Create highly engaging motion and video content for all of our digital touchpoints from social and performance marketing to website animations and video channels
- You are responsible for and must be able to design and develop visually appealing and on-brand motion graphics, animations, and videos that effectively convey our brand's messages, promote our platform, and highlight important announcements
- Take control of the planning and conceptualization, storyboarding approval, design and execution of our overall video and motion production process
- Take the lead of the creative success of multiple medium-sized to large projects from start to finish – often working on several projects simultaneously
- Ensure all final design deliverables for a project are pixel-perfect, clearly labeled and organized in shared folders to foster greater collaboration with key stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with the broader marketing team and all cross-functional stakeholders to build an efficient and standardized production framework
- Always be learning: stay-up-date on the latest video design and UX/UI trends, competitor creative, and SaaS industry best practice to continually test, learn and optimize design activities and evolve the brand over time
Our take
Hong Kong-based Easyship was conceived when its founders noticed that there was no ‘plug- in” solution for shipping, as there is for online payments. Its service adds shipment options to e-commerce pages to make the shipping of a product internationally as easy as the payment.
Easyship enables direct access to over 250 global courier services, including UPS, FedEx and DHL, and claims to offer the cheapest international shipping rates up to 91% off. The platform’s various tools and automated services essentially allow business to focus on their products and growth whilst EasyShip manages their shipping needs.
The volumes of international post packages shot up following the pandemic creating greater demand for EasyShip’s services, which continue to grow in offerings. Its global reach is expansive with offices in Hong Kong, New York, London, Singapore and Australia, positioning itself as the leading shipping solution to businesses that want to reach their clients worldwide.
