This role requires exceptional project management skills, financial reporting expertise, and strict attention to detail to ensure all initiatives are executed efficiently, transparently, and in full compliance with financial policies
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public administration, nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, social impact, or community development, with a strong focus on financial reporting and budget management
Proven ability to track program expenditures, and ensure compliance with accounting and foundation financial protocols
Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and transparency in all program operations
Excellent communication skills, with experience engaging stakeholders, facilitating discussions, and delivering presentations
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and a results-driven approach
Proficiency in project management tools; experience with monday.com is a plus
Startup mentality with the ability to work independently, adapt to shifting priorities, and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

What the job involves

We are seeking a detail-oriented and financially savvy Social Impact Project Manager to lead and coordinate high-impact initiatives that drive meaningful change within our communities
Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of diverse social impact initiatives aimed at connecting underserved youth to the tech sector
Oversee program budgets with precision—tracking expenses, maintaining financial records, and ensuring full compliance with accounting procedures, funding requirements, and financial policies
Coordinate educational programming, inspirational workshops, and training sessions across NYC schools while maintaining fiscal responsibility and transparency
Monitor project progress, assess financial risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery
Ensure all financial reporting obligations are met, preparing detailed reports and analysis to track funding utilization and program effectiveness
Develop and implement strategic communication plans to raise awareness of programs, engage key audiences, and drive support for social impact efforts
Collect data, evaluate project outcomes, and generate insights to drive continuous program improvements and inform future decision-making
