Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably within the SaaS or technology industry
- 1+ years of experience working with strategic prospects and customers
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Understanding of authentication, security, and identity management solutions
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport and establish credibility with senior-level executives and technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales engagement tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred

- Experience selling to developers and/or CISO
- Experience in the Identity & Access Management space
- Experience selling to Tech Companies, Finserve, Fintech and/or Retail/eComm
What the job involves
- As a Strategic Account Executive at Stytch, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new strategic customers and expanding our presence within existing accounts
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Product, and Developer Success, to deliver tailored solutions that address the unique needs of our strategic clients
- This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with a proven track record of exceeding targets in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- This is a hybrid, full-time position based in the SF Bay Area
- We aren’t looking for someone to be in-office 5 days per week, but are looking for someone who is excited to collaborate in-person on a weekly basis (2-3 days per week in-office)
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand Stytch’s market share within the strategic segment
- Identify, prospect, and engage with potential strategic customers through outbound efforts, leveraging your network and industry contacts
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach and discovery to negotiation, closing, and post-sale follow-up
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at target accounts, including C-level executives, decision-makers, and technical teams
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide customer feedback, inform product development, and optimize go-to-market strategies
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the value of Stytch’s solutions and address specific customer pain points
- Accurately forecast sales pipeline and maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position Stytch as a thought leader in the authentication space
Our take
Passwords don’t typically offer the levels of security they once did, and we need more of them than ever - leading to poor security practices and a huge volume of subsequent data breaches. Some startups have emerged to help manage them; Stytch, however, is part of a growing cohort looking to cut them out entirely.
The idea is to make navigating digital space frictionless. To this end, Stytch has developed an out-of-the-box, easy-to-deploy version of about a dozen passwordless authentication solutions. It has seen a sharper increase in users and funding than rival startups like Magic, which it puts down to an API-first product, which is less limiting in its application than the widgets we’ve seen developed by earlier entrants to the space.
That alone, however, won’t be enough to push it ahead of other highly successful innovators in the space. Transmit Security has received record-breaking backing for its biometrics-led approach. This goes to show how far the market is betting on a passwordless future, and whilst Stytch’s line of attack is successful, it will nevertheless need to remain sharp in its development of new solutions.
