What the job involves

As Infrastructure Engineering Manager, you’ll drive scalable, resilient systems for one of DeFi’s fastest-growing protocols. Lead a high-performing team to deliver APIs, data pipelines, and backend systems while aligning infrastructure goals with Morpho’s vision
Prioritize team success and foster growth
Manage priorities, deliver high-quality solutions, and address technical debt
Build and scale a world-class infrastructure team
Design scalable, reliable systems for all Morpho products
Drive for best practices around deployments, observability, and system reliability
Build secure, high-performance, data-intensive systems using blockchain knowledge
Create long-term infrastructure strategies to match Morpho’s growth
Align technical decisions with business objectives
1 Month: Understand team dynamics and align objectives
3 Months: Establish a daily release cadence and improve observability
6 Months: Scale infrastructure to meet growing demands and set measurable team goals

Our take

Morpho Labs’ Morpho Blue is a blockchain layer for protocols and apps to be built upon. With the ability to externalise risk management, it allows blockchain creators to integrate the layer into their own risk and compliance systems. Ultimately, Morpho is a lending protocol built upon open-source algorithms.

Originally founded as an optimisation layer for interest rate improvements, it has now evolved into a base layer for builders of crypto lending applications. With the intention of making DeFi protocols more accessible and easy to use through a user-controlled risk assessment platform, the company has attracted significant interest from big-hitting investors such as Coinbase Ventures and Variant. Morpho intends to use these funds to accelerate its mission to make financial infrastructure a public good.
