Who you are

A solid background in machine learning with a focus on NLP
Have full lifecycle experience of leading Data Science and ML research projects through to operational value delivery
Be a relentless problem solver with a focus on Customer value, recognising outcomes and designing effective solutions

Desirable

Have experience implementing SOTA NLP research papers and working with large-scale data sets and distributed computing frameworks
Have excellent communication skills and be able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

What the job involves

RoleMapper is looking to engage a skilled Machine Learning leader to drive maturity of our ML Solution. You will ensure good decisions that maximise the product value delivered by our ML engineering team
You will inspire, and mentor our growing team, creating a culture of innovation, improvement, and high performance
Guiding Architectural decision making
Maturing the delivery of ML Operations
Supporting product strategy decision making and roadmap planning
Establishing a deep foundation to build and scale our machine learning operational capability
Communicating technical concepts and project results to non-technical stakeholders

Our take

Recruitment teams are under increasing pressure both to design jobs that can net top talent in a hot labour market, and to advertise them in such a way as to draw in diverse candidate pools. All this takes time, and a lot of back-and-forth between teams, which in turn can lead to error, a lack of attention to diversity requirements, and bloated recruitment periods.

RoleMapper has developed a modular platform which centralises all job data and documents, and through which recruitment teams can simplify and automate different parts (or the entirety) of the process. Job ad content can be AI-generated or augmented, collaborated upon through built-in workflows, monitored for diversity compliance, and analysed through the insights dashboard.

The company is modestly sized as things stand, but has consistently won national awards for its work. Plus, it’s supported by a lively and growing UK recruitment tech sector scene, in which it’s driving to distinguish itself by developing new tools that facilitate flexible job listings.
