Senior Software Engineer, Moloco

• 6+ years of software development experience on backend with high exposure to large scale distributed systems
• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
• Excellent software development skills and fluency in at least one server programming language (Go, Java, C, C++, Rust etc.)
• Experience working in Cloud/Big Data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• System Design and development skills; from gathering requirements to design to implementation to testing to production
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and strategic planning

Desirable

• We're seeking a senior software engineer to help us design, develop, expand and maintain the ad serving engine of our next generation Moloco Commerce Media (MCM) product
• Develop new features of our customer exposed APIs impacting customers directly
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of our back end service
• Work on a sophisticated ad serving application built as a highly distributed system
• Write server side code that can handle a large amount of traffic coming from world wide
• Build system on top of public cloud infrastructure
• Implement and utilize various data structures that fit the need of various applications
• Constantly improve system efficiency both to lower latency and lower cost
• Design and implement advanced logging and monitoring mechanisms
• Design and implement fraud prevention/detection algorithms through analysis of complex time-series data
• Collaborate with and lead other SW/ML engineers and data scientists
• Design features while implementing security measures for our systems in various layers
• Ideate new features and architecture to improve our advertising platform with an uncapped growth mind set
