  • A proven track record of success in B2B sales

What the job involves

  • An opportunity to join InPost UKโ€™s highly talented Network Team as a Business Development Manager
  • The Network Teamโ€™s aim is to secure new locations for InPost Parcel Lockers across the UK
  • This role as a Business Development Manager, will be tactical and involve travelling within the South region, covering multiple locations
  • Your goal is to secure new site locations by proactively promoting the clear environmental and economic benefits of InPost products to independent business operators in your territory
  • Drive network growth in your territory! Itโ€™s about getting our Lockers into more amazing locations
  • Promote InPost services, drive and own the progress of the sales pipeline from lead qualification to contract negotiation and signing
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and personal goals
  • Use a combination of warm leads and your own lead generation to close sales with Landlords, Asset Managers & Property Managers
  • Use analytics tools to guide decision making & strategy
  • Analyse the territory potential, track sales activities and produce performance reports
  • Coordinate sales effort with your team and other departments from across the business
  • Maintain CRM with details of prospective prospects interested in InPost products, from lead qualification to signed contract, along with lockers deployment forecasts

Our take

One of the key friction points of modern e-commerce remains delivery. In addition to rising costs and the logistical challenges of next-day service, missed collections and deliveries cost UK e-commerce businesses more than ยฃ1.6b every year. For consumers, it's similarly frustrating to have to wait in for parcels all day โ€“ or frequently miss deliveries whilst out at work.

InPost is disrupting the logistics industry with a network of conveniently placed smart parcel lockers that enable consumers to easily receive and return packages from online retailers. It has already set up over 5000+ smart lockers, and partnered with 200+ leading retail partners like Vinted, ASOS & Zara.

InPost's appeal has soared in the after-effects of the pandemic, as the business has been able to offer completely contact-free deliveries and collections for consumers.
