Who you are
- This role is a good fit for a product manager who is passionate and hands-on at the same time in working on product areas to provide pay-as-you-go graph analytic products
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related major. Advanced degree preferred. Equivalent years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
- 10 or more years of experience as a product manager with 5 or more of those years in a leadership role driving the direction and strategy of cloud-based products or services
- 5 or more years of experience in cloud and/or database space

- Good at writing product requirement design documents and articulate it them with engineers
- Excellent organization skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced startup environment

- Capable operational driver with core database engineers and QA team

- Good at defining and launching new DBaaS offering with solid well thought business plan
- Experience driving cloud business through direct sales as well as through indirect sales through partners and cloud marketplaces (AWS, GCP and Azure)
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, cloud infrastructure, and related technologies, especially AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Familiarity with graph databases, data analytics, and AI/ML technologies
- Experience in designing and managing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional user experiences and drive ease-of-use initiatives
- Knowledge of enterprise requirements, including security, compliance, and governance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Director of Product Management to join our product team to work on innovative consumption based graph analytics offering in the cloud
- Define and evolve our current cloud product to make this the market leading Cloud Graph Database offering
- You will talk to customers and help onboarding new customers and drive their new requirements to our existing cloud offering
- Define and execute on the product vision for consumption based model, which revolves around storing data in cost-effective object stores while managing compute resources through Kubernetes, treating them as utilities for extracting value
- To drive success for this consumption-based cloud offering, you need to collaborate closely with our core engineering and infrastructure teams to design a comprehensive plan. You will constantly seek feedback from our customers, iterating as needed to update our product plans to meet market demand
- Be a technical, strong and eloquent advocate for our core foundational graph database in public
- Develop and execute the overall strategy and roadmap for TigerGraph Cloud DBaaS platform, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals
- Lead engineering teams responsible for supporting TigerGraph's cloud modernization efforts
- Oversee the design, deployment, and management of the infrastructure supporting TigerGraph Cloud
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, scalability, elasticity, reliability, and security of the cloud infrastructure
- Work closely with product management and customer support teams to gather user feedback and incorporate it into the design and development of the cloud platform
- Champion the adoption of best practices and industry standards for usability and user-centric design
- Drive continuous improvement of infrastructure components and processes to optimize performance and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to define and implement robust security measures and controls
- Encourage and lead automation initiatives for public and private cloud databases
- Provide strong people leadership to empower, encourage, and engage the team
