Role
Who you are
- You'll crush this role if you have 5+ years of experience in billing, accounting, or finance operations — ideally in legal services, court reporting, or a multi-vendor or two-sided marketplace environment — and you're a strong people leader who knows that building a high-performing team is just as important as building clean processes
- You coach, develop, and hold a bar; you create clarity for the people you manage; and you've got the deep expertise in rate cards and vendor compensation models, plus a knack for simplifying complex, multi-state processes into clear, scalable workflows that a new team member can follow on day one
What the job involves
- You own the billing engine – From rate cards to vendor compensation to multi-state billing structures, you’re the subject matter expert the entire organization depends on
- Cross-functional and high-visibility – Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Product on billing systems and tools that work for the business and the relationship
- Built for builders – You’ll identify a broken workflow and fix it, designing scalable systems and playbooks that drive efficiency across a fast-moving team
- Real complexity, real impact – Navigate jurisdiction-specific billing rules, multi-market rate structures, and a fast-moving product environment where no two days look the same
